How is the 1 kg gold bar price calculated?
The Kilo Desk shows one live ABRAF price per gram for each fineness. It moves with the market through the day and includes Indian customs duty and 3% GST. Tap a board to hold its price for 60 seconds; the price is fixed for you at the moment you lock.
Which bars can I buy?
Only 1 kg gold (Au) cast bars — Valcambi Suisse (999.9, 999.0, 995.0) and PAMP Suisse Cast Bar Provenance (999.9, 1000 g, 9.2 mm thick, 52.5 × 115.5 mm). An equal-standard bar may be delivered. The Valcambi bar is rectangular, 53.00 × 117.00 mm, stamped with a serial of 2 letters and 5 numbers and supplied with a serial-numbered certificate. Fine gold content: 995.0 g (31.990 oz), 999.0 g (32.119 oz) or 999.9 g (32.148 oz).
How do I pay for a kilo bar?
Book online with 15% of the order value through Razorpay and pay the balance by RTGS / NEFT, or pay the whole amount by RTGS / NEFT to ABRAF Gold Private Limited's HDFC current account. Our bullion desk calls to confirm the lock and the delivery or collection.
Is KYC required?
Yes. Individuals upload their PAN card (PDF or JPG); businesses upload their GST certificate and give the GSTIN and company PAN. The GST invoice is issued in that name.
Which purity will I receive?
Subject to change — depending on availability ABRAF dispatches a 995.0, 999.0 or 999.9 kilo bar, and the invoice is raised on the purity actually dispatched.
When can I lock a price?
The desk opens at 9:30 AM IST with the day's allocation of 1 kg bars and closes at 5:00 PM, Monday to Saturday. Once a fineness sells out, the next allocation opens the following desk day. Outside desk hours the page shows live indicative prices, but locking is paused.
Is the price on this page final?
The price is live and moves with the world market. It is fixed for you at the moment you lock. Customs duty is shown at today's statutory rate; the final invoice reflects the rate at the time of the lock.
