Refund & Cancellation Policy

Last updated: 19 August 2026

This policy explains when an ABRAF order can be cancelled, when a refund is due, and how long it takes. It applies to bullion purchases, jewellery purchases and the ABRAF Gold Harvest savings scheme operated by ABRAF GOLD PRIVATE LIMITED.

1. Live-rate pricing — why bullion orders are time-sensitive

Gold is priced live against the market. When you lock a price on abrafgold.com, we commit that rate to you for the quoted window and hedge our position immediately. For this reason a rate-locked bullion order cannot be cancelled or refunded once payment has been made, except in the situations listed in clauses 2 and 3 below. This is standard practice for bullion across the industry.

2. Cancellation before payment

You may cancel any order at no cost at any time before payment is completed. Simply do not complete the payment, or message us on WhatsApp and we will release the lock. No charge applies and no record of dues is created.

3. When we will refund you in full

  • We are unable to fulfil or deliver your order for any reason.
  • The item delivered does not match the weight, purity or specification you ordered.
  • The item is damaged, tampered with or the seal is broken on arrival — reported as per clause 4.
  • A payment is debited from you but the order is not created at our end (duplicate or failed transaction).

In each case you may choose a full refund or a replacement.

4. Reporting a damaged or incorrect delivery

Please inspect the parcel before accepting it. Claims for damage, tampering or shortage must reach us within 48 hours of delivery, supported by a continuous unboxing video that clearly shows the sealed parcel before opening. Without this video we may be unable to pursue the claim with our insured logistics partner.

5. Bullion and jewellery buyback (not a refund)

If you simply wish to sell gold back to us after taking delivery, that is a buyback, not a refund. Buyback is always available at our published live buyback rate on the day, after XRF purity verification. See Sell Old Gold for the current rate and process.

6. ABRAF Gold Harvest savings scheme

  • Each instalment you pay is converted into gold grams at the live rate on the date of payment and credited to your account. That gold belongs to you.
  • You may stop paying at any time. There is no penalty for stopping.
  • The bonus instalment (the 12th month) is earned only on completing all 11 paid instalments as per the scheme terms.
  • On early exit, the gold already accrued in your account remains redeemable against jewellery or bullion as per the scheme terms. Cash refunds of paid instalments are not made as standard, because each instalment has already been converted into gold on your behalf.
  • Instalments paid in error or duplicated on the same day are refunded in full.

7. How refunds are processed

Approved refunds are made to the original payment method only — the same UPI ID, card or bank account used for payment. We initiate approved refunds within 3 working days of approval, and your bank or UPI provider typically credits them within a further 5 to 7 working days. We will share the payment reference for your records.

8. GST and charges

Where a refund is made, applicable GST is refunded along with the principal. Payment gateway charges, where separately levied, are not retained by ABRAF.

9. How to raise a request

Message us on WhatsApp at +91 95971 62999 or email info@abrafgroups.com with your order or account number. We acknowledge every request within one working day.
